Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro is rumored to sport 5.45 Inch (2280 x 1080 pixels) notched display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It will likely to run MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
Redmi Note 6 Pro will arrive in three different storage variants:
- 3GB RAM variant with 32GB storage
- 4GB RAM variant with option for either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage.
Additionally, it will be available in five different colors: Gold, Blue, Pink, Black and Red. It comes as a surprise that these benchmark listings do not indicate the existence of a 6GB RAM variant with 64GB storage similar to Redmi Note 5 Pro.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro will most likely be an incremental update bringing design changes and little update in terms of hardware. It is expected to retain the 4,000mAh battery and feature dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel main sensor.
Xiaomi claims to have sold over 5 million units of its Redmi Note 5 series in India. With Redmi Note 6 series, the company will trying to offer an even more competitive smartphone. The company recently launched POCO F1 powered by Snapdragon 845 in India at a starting price of Rs 20,999. With the Redmi Note 6 Pro, it will have tough time pricing it well.
