Starting at a price of Rs. 13,999, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro that was launched back in February has quickly emerged as one of the best selling Smartphones in the market.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India has been increased by Rs. 1,000, and the smartphone will now start at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB variant. While the price of the 6GB RAM version remains unchanged.
The new prices will be effective from May 1 across all online and offline channels.
In a tweet on Monday, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain cited that this price hike is due to the recent changes in the PCBA import taxes.
