To engage its 1.5 Billion userbase, WhatsApp the instant messaging giant is launching new features more frequently. The latest feature includes the ability to make Group Audio calls with people in your contact list.
According to WABetaInfo, the new feature is being tested with WhatsApp for iPhone and few users who are part of the beta program received this feature. Earlier we have seen WhatsApp testing Group Video Call feature. Voice and Video calls are popular on WhatsApp and this move by WhatsApp will keep users stick more to the platform.
The interface looks more like the old interface we have seen with the individual voice calls. It will soon be available to Android users as well.
This is definitely an interesting feature for users as they now spend more time hanging with friends and family members.
Will this be an end to Skype? Sare your views in comments below.
