If you are using Motorola’s Moto G5S Plus, then this news will surely excite you. Lenovo, the parent company of Motorola announced that the company is will skip Android 8.0 update and jump to Android 8.1 for G5 Plus.
While the update isn’t available immediately because the company is looking to include the June security patch before full roll out. So the update may arrive in late June.
Another interesting thing is that newly revealed Moto G6 phones are launching with Android 8.0, while the old model is getting Android 8.1.
