This year Xiaomi is turning 8 and may launch the Anniversary Edition, Mi 8 skipping the launch of Mi 7 as 8 is considered lucky in China.
The Chinese Smartphone maker will debut its 3D facial recognition(much like the iPhone X) and in-display fingerprint scanner on this device.
In a recent alleged video leak, a user posted a short video showing the alleged Xiaomi smartphone as a user unlocks it with his fingerprint, right on the display.
The icons on the display are very much similar to MiUi supporting the rumors. Other rumors include that the device may come with Snapdragon 845 coupled with 8GB RAM and may go on presale on May 27.
