Mobile games are everyone’s favourite and there is no exaggeration. To take this fun to next level Google is secretly backing a startup named Arcade that “focussed on Mobile gaming with friends“.
Getting into details, Bloomberg reports that the project is being headed by Michael Sayman, a 21-year-old ex-Facebook intern. Arcade’s first app, slated to debut this summer, will have some elements of a trivia game.
This effort is a part of Area 120, a unit of Google where select employees can work on small startups that live inside Google. To scale the project Sayman gets budget for marketing, hiring a team for design and finance to create his own startup with less risk.
