While everyone is busy building their business foundations on Planet Earth, Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos is serious about building a colony on Moon for the future of mankind.
While Billionaire genius Elon Musk, CEO of Space X is planning to send humans to Mars, Blue Origin CEO Jeff Bezos believes it’s more practical to start out on the moon as it is a logical choice of being the nearest space body to us.
In an Interview with GeekWire on Friday, Bezos shares his plan to send people to Moon initially and build a permanent settlement there.
Bezos has a pragmatic view of why we’ll need those lunar bases in the future. “The Earth is not a very good place to do heavy industry. It’s convenient for us right now, but in the not-too-distant future — I’m talking decades, maybe 100 years — it’ll start to be easier to do a lot of the things that we currently do on Earth in space because we’ll have so much energy,” he said.
